Really excellent product.. I tested and trialled with it over a few years now and have now found that if I leave it on for 1hr 30mins, this is sufficient for me. I also do not do the solid grey areas around front sides for as long as this part is mostly grey and I found if I leave it in too long there, then it does take on a more orangey tone, so I now leave this part till 30mins before I rinse off and add dye to this part just for the last 30mins...this gives a golden brown colour to my 100% grey area of hair... the rest of my hair is more 30% grey.. this I leave for 1 hr 30 and it just looks like golden highlights. My hair is in such better condition compared to when I used to use chemical damaging dyes..
I've been using this product for almost 8 years, after I developed an allergy to chemical colors. I love it. Since they stopped selling it in the U.S.A., I was so glad to find that I could order it directly through Suvarna!
My natural color is light brown and of course, the grey has increased since I first started using it. It leaves my natural color the same, and turns the grey blonde, so it blends in beautifully. I color every 5-6 weeks and only do my entire head about four times a year. The rest of the time, I just do the roots out a couple inches because the new growth and closer to the scalp shows the grey sooner. For some reason, the remainder of the hair holds the blonde much longer. I do leave the color on for the full 2 hours, so it really takes. I've got fine, shoulder length hair but I've never had to use an entire tube in one coloring, even when I color down to the ends. I sure hope they keep making this product.
Great product. Easy to apply and gives very good result without any allergic reaction which happens with a lot of hair colouring products. I have a lot of grey so need to leave about 1 hour for best result. I think it is an individual thing but for me darker colours will come out lighter.
Unfortunately I chose the wrong colour, I needed the dark brown😫 but I was made up that I can dye my hair without reaction. I feel I need to just find the right colour for my hair. My hair has been black for years but my grey is taking over, I can’t use any DPD products as I severely had bad reaction where I was hospitalised with swelling😩, now I need to get back my brown hair ASAP.
Very good product. My natural colour is dark blonde/light brown and the result was a ligher blond colour on some greys and a brown colour on dark blond hair. Not bad at all. You will need to do it a second time in a week's time, which I plan to do, as I have some cream left. The cream is easy to use (no mixing) and does not drip. Excellent! Thank you.
I've been using natural hair dyes for many years, mostly the plain dried powders - henna, indigo, amla, cassia and rhubarb. They take well but are messy to use and henna is too red for me really, so I thought I would give these creams a try. I am aware from my usage of natural dyes that they can be tricky to get to take and I didn't want to have wasted all the time I spent carefully applying it to my roots, so for my first application of this I wrapped my head in cling film. then in a warm towel, and left it overnight. In total the application time was about 10 hours. When I washed it off, there appeared to be no dye uptake at all. My 50 or so grey hairs were perhaps very slightly less silvery, but no other change. Just in case there was some problem with this application, I repeated it again a few days later, processing overnight again. Then a few days later than that I tried it strictly according to the package instructions - i.e. a processing time of around 90 minutes. The result every time was the same - no dye uptake at all. However, each time the skin of my scalp was dyed a strong dark brown colour, which took around three days to go, and it also itched slightly and was irritated. Overall, I would definitely not recommend this product.
It smells like gingerbread which is nice . I tried it on 30 minutes first time but didnt take. Second time an hour and 20 took slightly but didnt blend my greys very much. I have had a lot of scalp operations and treatment so might be why. It didn't upset my scalp at all and I am not giving up. I think the colour would be better stayed on longer and when my hair is back to normal.
30 minutes leave in time would not be enough to colour grey. Nougat is usually only a blondish colour on grey hair anyway.

Application straight forward, left on for 90 minutes, grey roots are gone but lighter brown colour so the product has done what was promised. Decided to try the dark brown next time with nougat to try and darken it further and leave on for longer, over all not bad and would use again.
