My first time using henna! It was easy to apply (nowhere near as messy as I had been warned) and also rinsed out well with no grittiness. The color was beautiful and rich on my hair but did not stain my bathroom or mixing bowl. Came with lots of info about how to use it. All in all a great product and I will purchase again!
I've been dying my hair (chemical dyes) since I was 12yrs old (I'm 37), I have had every colour from black, brown, platinum blonde, blue, pink and purple but I have never tried henna. Suvarna was highly recommended after I found I now have allergies towards chem dyes. I saw they had it's pure boxed henna but wanted to go big or go home. I purchased 200g of henna and some indigo (just incase). I cured henna with filtered water and lemon juice (2tble spoons) left for 23hrs to cure then applied. I did make a mistake in not adding enough water constancy was thick icing sugar again my mistake but I'm new to henna. I love the colour it's a deep red at the moment but I know after oxidation it'll be an auburn colour which was what I was hoping for. I'm a henna convert, I even love the smell of henna. I'll be buying more to stock up on. Kinda sad I have indigo I don't need but you never know I may need in future. Shelf life is amazing, packaging I'd brilliant as well stocking up won't take much space. I'm truly happy Thank you suvarna and thank you Tricia for your helpful advice. If you're ever in doubt ask Tricia will help you ❤️
Having had trouble with henna in the past I was nervous to try it again, but hair dye is starting to give me worse allergic reactions each time, and I’m not ready to go grey. This was perfect! Mixed it with apple juice and left on for four hours. I put the rest in the freezer and used it for my roots a couple months later. Next time I’d be tempted to divide the mixture into lots of small tubs to freeze so I don’t waste any, but I’m still not entirely sure how much I need.
Excellent: Very fine Henna powder giving great results

I've tried many other brands but none had such fine powder that mixed into a lovely yogurt like consistency. Where the coarser versions were crumbly to apply and keep on your head for hours and a nightmare to wash out, this one was so easy to spread on and wash out. I soaked it overnight before applying to release the dye and the results were a very bright Henna red that also made my hair feeling healthier and stronger. I am also allergic to Sodium Picramate which is often added to other Henna to enhance the red colour but it leaves my head very itchy for days. This one had no reaction to my super sensitive skin. My delivery arrived quickly. I'm very happy with my purchase.
This was my first time using henna hair dye and I'll be honest I didn't have the highest expectations as my hair is pretty dark (medium-dark brown) but I thought I'd give it a go anyway. I naturally had a few red highlights to my hair in the sun but nothing very noticeable unlike my sister who's hair turns a beautiful colour of coppery red in the sunlight. I am pleased to say that this henna went way beyond my low expectations. I mixed it with pure lemon juice and left it over night and the next morning applied it to my hair and left it for about 2-3 hours. It was quite a bit of effort to rinse out but after a few washes and once I blow dried it my hair was very red- maybe a little too red for my liking! But after a day or two it cooled down and is back to brown but with amazing auburn/red low and highlights- especially in the sunlight. I love it! It also looks very natural which is what I wanted. I'm very happy overall!
