I've used the organic henna and indigo powders for a while now to cover a small amount of grey in mid to dark brown fine hair. This works well although I have to be careful not to leave the indigo on for too long otherwise I look a bit "Goth". The powders used in combination, either together or better separately, seem to have a conditioning effect on my hair which is tending to go a bit frizzy without this treatment.
Went to sleep with this indigo on all night, did not put any thing on my hair for a day ofter left my hair very dry,so I have to put on pure hair oil and this indigo colour just does not not stay on horrible stains on my hands and clothes ? ? ?
Great advice from the website. The recipes are easy to follow and not as messy as I first thought. I do have long hair so my daughter helped me to apply the paste to cover all those wiry white hair. The hair feel really soft and shinny and the colour did develop a little deeper over the next couple of days. The white hair coverage is not as good but those are much more blended in now. This was only the first application, so I can see that with further application the colour will deepen. I highly recommend and don't understand why there isn't one hair dresser out there that specialise in natural treatment!
Fast delivery with great information sheets included. As I have short hair I started with 50g henna and 40g indigo this made a very rich chocolate Brown, I will prob use less indigo next to get a redder result. I have been complimented on how shinny my hair is and my hair condition seems much improved, and the colour is lasting really well not much fading at all. Most of all its great to know the colour has been achieved through the use of no chemicals. Completely converted! Thanks
I was a bit concerned because the packet never said body art quality also the powder was not as bright in colour but I tried it anyway and it was just the same result so I am very happy. Is there any difference between them as I was informed to use the body art quality to cover stubborn grey hair .
I love using henna and indigo mixed together, it gives me the perfect result, which is dark brown. After mixing henna with lemon juice it is left over night, then I mix the indigo next morning then pour it into the henna with one organic egg. It will rest for 5 minutes, then I put it on my hair and sleep with it over night to cover the few grays I have. Next morning my hair is rinsed and shampooed, It leaves my hair really soft and no grays.
I have allergy to chemical dyes. I was worried how to cover my grey hair since I am just 30 years old. I used henna alone in the past but I was not satisfied by the red shiny color of henna on grey hair. When I tried the indigo after henna, I was very happy to see my hair all black again. The two powders were great and stick to hair smoothly without any mess. I will buy the indigo powder again and I will recommend other people to use it. Thanks a lot and continue your success.
