I have light brown hair with probably about 25% grey. This covered well with th first application which I left on for 1.5 hours. I will definitely use again and it goes a long way when you only have short hair!
FAO former natural red heads! Though maybe it will not work for everyone!!

I recently bought the ' It's pure- Herbal hair wash and tint- Blond' to wash and treat my hair without having to buy all the herbs separately. I was pleased with the result- my hair was soft, shiny, less flyaway and thicker. Once upon a time my hair was a natural rich auburn / copper colour. (,of course I never appreciated it at the time). A long time ago it faded to mid brownish and has also changed from very very thick and strong and now with age it is more fine, a bit flyaway and a more normal thickness . Over the years I have tried to wake up the colour with various henna products but was never entirely happy because I really wanted the lighter coppery tones as opposed to the more darker henna red. I was not expecting there to be any colour change! So I was amazed to notice threads of copper and gold throughout .......( this product promising just a blond tint for light and blond hair). I immediately bought It's Pure Golden Blond. After s day or so the copper and gold colour tones developed and blend with my mid brownish colour making it now a beautiful auburn/copper. A very, very subtle version of my former flaming locks. Exactly the colour I have been trying for years to achieve. It just goes to show how individual our hair is and how versatile these natural herbs. I think I must have many lighter shades mixed in my mid brownish hair to pick up the gold and copper dyes and also the finer texture taking the dyes better. I have a small patch of grey which blends well with the rest of my hair being now a more gold / copper combination highlight. I may well I have more grey as well as the other lighter shades throughout (the grey here isn't noticeable yet but might be what is picking up golden colour so beautifully. I will just have to be patient now while the darkened 'over henna d' ends of my shoulder length hair grow out. Though I see you have tips here to lighten hair that I could try. So I was surprised and completely delighted by this accidental consequence of my experimenting. And ps the service from this site is always excellent too. Thank you.
I've tried 3 of the It's Pure colours now and they are all excellent. The fine powder mixes into a nice smooth paste, so it's easy to work through your hair. I leave mine on 2-2.5 hours and get really good coverage (including greys).
Gave my ash blonde hair a nice subtle golden tint, but natural looking and not too brassy. My grey hairs are a lighter blonde which blended in nicely. It was easier than I thought it would be to apply. The shower was a bit messy afterwards but it cleaned up easily
It usually covers grey at least to a light colour. Perhaps it was not left on for long enough? Or perhaps the rest of your hair was a strong colour and it did not show up in contrast to the darker hair.
Great natural coverage

Delighted with this product in the golden blonde shade. It has taken away the nasty dulling effect of my sprinkling of grey on my light brown hair, leaving me with natural light blonde highlights and lovely blonde streaks.
Best result has been with leaving the product in for just 1 hour, which produced the natural blonde that I wanted. When I did the trial and left it in for the longest time advised, the effect was a brassy yellow.
