This Henna is amazing. Quite the beat I've used. It's so nice and easy to apply and not gritty like the other Henna's I've used. I used pure organics indigo anyway and mixed it with the henna before application, as I wanted a medium to dark brown finish. Unfortunately I didn't have quite enough indigo left so the finish is a little redder than what I wanted, as the grey hairs have gone more red. However, I did the application over a week ago and it's toning down now. My own fault as I should have checked I had more indigo. My hair which has no.grey is a gorgeous glossy dark brown with tons of red highlights. The condition feels amazing. Very pleased. Will not use any other henna now. I've been using henna for around 2 years now.
I've been a Caca Rouge user for 10 years, until disability made chopping and grating a solid bar too painful. I ordered Suvanas henna to try on my thick, waist length hair, particularly my darker roots. The henna arrived quickly and was simple to prepare, the instructions were clear.
Working with powder henna that didn't need heating was so much quicker and easier to apply, no lumpy mixture, burns or time spent trying to massage it through my hair. One pack coated my hair completely with enough to saturate my roots. I advise you *do* use gloves, a barrier cream and a spray bathroom cleaner afterwards as it dyes skin and the tub quickly. However it definitely doesn't have a heavy herbal smell, which is a plus.
I'm a convert, and will be using Survana henna from now on, it's a high quality henna that turns an arduous process into a pain free, quick dye job.
I have used just henna for 1st time on its own, I do have grey roots, it has took really well. I love the colour its rich orange colour. I know it will darken over days too. VEry pleased with it will be ordering again, thank you.
