My hair is now white/grey in places. This natural dye mix gave a good, even cover. As it washed out in time the roots became a golden brown - which I quite liked. Used more frequently it gives continuous brown shade. Good product.
Used on mum who is almost all grey. Easy to mix and apply. Just did the roots and left for 2 hours. After wash the hair still looked light but in a few hours it got darker. Grey hair blends in well. Thank You Suvarna finally we have a product that is 100 % chemical free.
I bought the It's Pure henna hair dye in light brown to cover my greys. I have to say it needs 2 applications but that is my choice as I could get the dark brown! Wonderful product. So smooth to apply and easy to rinse off. Hair is in lovely condition after application. Would highly recommend.
Usually use the henna and indigo mix but now I have too much build up of black I have just switched to the organics natural brown and needed to apply twice to cover the bright copper on my roots already still have a slight red hue but hoping to keep using this and gradually change to a lighter shade but good result so far
Having been a henna adept in the past when I still had my natural colour, I have to say I think this product - It's Pure natural brown - is fab in comparison. I was extremely grey (80% +), but no longer am after 1 application (I followed the instructions : mixed half a pack with warm water. I used a metal pan and whisk and also mixed in a splash of fresh lemon, then used it immediately.) I left it on for 3.5 hours. The coverage is wonderful, and I have a nice mixed brown shade. The only place it is a wee bit orangey is on the really white fine hair by the face, but it isn't carrot, and isn't that noticeable. I made the mix pretty wet (like runny yoghourt), started with hair from the crown then worked my way down, and used what was left in the metal pan to really massage it into the hair (on shoulder length hair), so there were drips, but I kept a roll of kitchen paper near by. I also found the powder much finer than ones I had used in the past which maybe helps, as previous experiences with henna plus indigo hadn't done anything at all to my colour. So not sure what alchemy the IP people have used, but I am really chuffed with the outcome. Plus it is organic (and fair trade would be even better)! Grey sisters - and brothers - go, go, go!
