I can't stop raving about this clay. After just one use my hair feels AMAZING. It's ridiculously soft and full, and clean of all the yukky shampoo residues that have built up over many years. The clay absorbs it all.
I mixed it to a thinnish yolk-like paste with rosewater, massaged it thoroughly into my scalp and then into the rest of my hair. Left it for ten mins or so with a shower cap on (you're not supposed to let it dry out or it can break your hair) and it rinsed off easily. The result - super-clean fuller, softer hair with more body than I have experienced in years.
Well worth the extra trouble, and I will be using it once a week from now own. It's supposed to be a marvellous face mask too, and I can't wait to try that. Again I'll mix it with rosewater, and maybe add a few drops of my own homemade facial oil (a mixture of organic cold-pressed argan oil, avacado oil, sea buckthorn berry oil and a few drops of lavender essential oil if you're interested).
The only drawback is that this little carton won't last very long - you need a couple of tablespoons for your hair if you have mid-length hair as I do. I may look into buying rhassoul clay (for this is what it is) in bulk.
Ghassoul clay is great as a face mask and works well for hair cleaning, but that's all this is - I was expecting something more. It's an expensive way to buy ghassoul and the packaging isn't that user friendly.
product received in good condition and product is what the the description suggests.

When I received my product I ordered it was in good condition and packaged correctly. It was also as described in the product description. It is a bit messy to use but overall it is a good product to use for sensitive, combination and oily skin types.
I find this product excellent. I use it both as a facial cleanser as well as for washing my hair. My hair is quite fine and washing it with LavaErde gives it extra body. An excellent, versatile product and very easy to use.
