It is important to do a strand test on a small area before using Surya Henna Powder all over your hair in case colour result on your hair was not what was intended. The Surya Henna Black and Henna Neutral shades are not to be used as a conditioning treatment and not for colouring grey hair. The rest of the Surya Henna Powder colours (including the ash shades) have a warm, golden or copper to reddish tone. If you have light coloured hair - blonde or grey the resuling colour will be more of a copper/red tone. The darker your hair is the less coppery it will be.
