I have been usung henna and indigo to cover my greys for more than a year. I had only ever used semi perm stuff before that but that still contaibs chemicals and i decided i didnt want to use it anymore. I started looking at articles on line and came across this site. i watched the video amd also others on youtube and decided to not mix the henna with anything other than warm water. I dont pre-soak it either. I apply it for approx four hours, wash amd dry my hair amd them use the indigo for about 40 minutes. After this the greys end up a dark brown. i have only ever orderedy henna and indigo fr Suvarna. Very swift delivery of products and have found them to be very professional and honest with their advice.
I used henna for the first time and I'm more than happy. I've mixed it in proportions: 50g of henna and 17g of indigo (added the second day), put in one application and the colour on my hair is excellent - brown with warm ginger highlights (2 hrs). First, my hair was a bit dry but after two days they've got a beautiful shine and softness. Definitely will use again.
I used henna and indigo for the first time. I was a bit apprehensive as I did not know how it was going to end up. However it covers my greys really well giving a rich chocolate colour. I was surprised that it got rid of all my split ends and really conditioned my hair. Amazing quality.
Very fine henna. Easy to use, less gritty than most hennas, so better to wash out. Like all henna's it does take a few washes. I used henna and indigo to make a red/brown colour. Covered all greys and lasted for ages. Would recomend.
Really happy - I placed my order and received it the next day as detailed on the website. Although I had already been sent a downloadable henna guide there were individual information leaflets inside with the henna and indigo with good instructions etc. I found the powders to be fine and easier to mix to a smoother paste than others that I've tried and therefore, easier to apply. I mixed the henna and left it overnight then mixed the indigo and used it immediately mixed together with the henna with really good results. I have darkish brown hair with stubborn greys but a mix of 1 part henna to 2 parts indigo left on for 4 hours has given me really pleasing results. I lost quite a bit of indigo colour during the following 2 washes so will continue to experiment on ways to reduce this. I'm using a sulphate and chemical free shampoo for my scalp anyway and believe this helps with the colour too. Like the website, products and service at Suvarna and will be sticking with them for future orders.
