Hello. Before I bought logona cream in nougat brown I read many, many reviews - some good some bad some confused so I was prepared for disappointment but also decided if i had any luck I'd leave my review incase it helped anyone. I have medium brown hair with residual dye in, some henna, so-called natural semi permanent and very highlights in there too, also going very white/fair at the temples. I didn't want to go very dark became it makes the temple growth more apparent. I have recently begun having terrible allergic reactions to all dyes except henna which is either too red or too yellow ('blonde' henna with cassia) I used a clarifying shampoo I already had and used logona the next day on bone dry hair really plastering it on hairline and reapplying it often. I wrapped in cling film and a hat and left for a whole day. It worked. My hair was a beautiful natural brown with more depth than with other dyes. It feels a bit like Oil paint. My temples were golden so I paints on more when dry from the tube remains. Then one more time after that! It might seem like a long process but is worth it for no allergies. White hair is stubborn and is not going to dye easily without chemicals, that's why they're in there. You need to prepare and take extra measures. I will be buying again.
I was hoping this product would be the answer as I have scalp psoriasis. Other hair colourants irritate my scalp and cause intense itching and inflammation. I have to say this product did not cause any aggravation whatsoever but my hair colour hasn't changed. I have light brown hair with copper tones. I was hoping this colour would bring through more red in my hair but unfortunately it hasn't. Perhaps if you have blonde hair it may work better. I don't use any styling products on my hair and I only shampooed my hair prior to application. Perhaps if I had used the pre treatment that the instructions recommend then maybe I would have had more of a result. However I only found out about this when I was reading the instructions. Not ideal. If it is that important then maybe it should be included in the pack.
The pre treatment may have helped but if you dont use any chemicals or silicones on your hair it probably wouldnt make that much difference. I think it may be that your hair was too dark for the nougat to make a big difference to. The nougat is also the least red of the colour creams, perhaps the Tizian would have been better for giving your hair more red tones.

I used Nougat and left on for 2 hours - it barely covered the greys. I then bought clarifying shampoo and had another go. Again a very mild effect which disappeared after one wash. Very disappointed.
Perhaps you could leave the cream on your hair for longer too. If you try applying heat with a hair dryer it helps.

I always opt for these easy-to-use hair colour creams. I've been using these for the past four years in Germany. I have one plea; as a change from the russet hues, please would Logona make a very dark brown version?
Encouraged by the good reviews, I was very hopeful to cover my greys with this product. I have previously used Hannah powder followed by Indigo but I was finding the final colour to be too dark. I chose the recommended shade, Nought and followed the instructions carefully, used the hairdryer and left the cream on for the maximum recommended time. My greys weren't covered AT ALL! I was hoping for a subtle colour change as I know my dark brown colour isn't easy to obtain with this kind of hair dye. Alas, the greys stayed pure white as they were! Waste of time and money I am afraid! Luckily hair feels soft and conditioned, but then any conditioner would have done that... Disappointed!
I am pleasantly surprised by this product! My hair was dry and had no shine due to years of constantly dying using supermarket products. It did take 3 attempts - first I tried the powder but this was just too messy and didn't appear to do anything. I then used the brown umber cream - two applications 2 days apart and left the cream on for the maximum of two hours (I have shoulder length hair and only needed half a tube for each attempt - and the cream was so much easier). After the 2nd attempt the colour really came through and my hair is shiny again! The grey hair at my roots has turned a nice golden colour and looks great when the light catches it. I will never go back to using chemical dyes and although my hair is still slightly dry at the ends, this product has improved the condition of my hair immensely. It is definitely worth trying, but requires a bit of patience and more than 1 attempt, but if you get the right colour the results are impressive.
