As a cancer sufferer I do all I can to eliminate chemicals from my life - but hair colour has always been a problem and I've not had great success with 'herbal' colourants in the past. However, I've had fantastic results using Pure Organics Hair Colour - it coloured my hair in a very natural way, completely covering my grey roots. It does have a slight lingering smell but it's not unpleasant and I consider that a small price to pay. It has also significantly improved the condition of my hair! I couldn't be any happier and will be using this product from now on.
This is the best natural hair dye I have ever used. The resulting colour is very close to my natural hair and all the grey was covered very well. Only kept on for 1 1/2 hrs and it took very well. The hair was soft and shiny unlike many other henna products this is not drying at all. Application was very easy, again better than any other henna product I've ever used.
After struggling with reactions to a number of chemicals in hair dye I purchased this with the hope it would not cause further problems. I am very pleased with the product would suggest over 90 mins to cover grey but excellent coverage will buy again
I have brown hair with about 50% grey. I have been using henna and indigo for many years now to dye my hair.
I normally apply henna separately, wash it out and then apply indigo. It took up to 5 hours and was a bit complicated but the results were amazing and all natural so I stuck with it. The colour was brown with subtle redish highlights where my grey was.
I had tried to mix the henna and indigo in one single application before but it did not work out very well.
Then I tried this dark brown ready mixed dye and the results were absolutely gorgeous. I meant to leave it on for shorter time but ended up leaving it for 3 hours. The colour was an even dark brown (no highlights) but it looked beautiful and I got many compliments on the colour. The greys got covered nicely.
My hair has been shiny and in an amazing condition ever since I have been using henna/indigo dyes. And I have been getting compliments on my hair ever since. I like this ready mix as it really simplifies the process into one single application and takes less time. I will try a shorter application time next time.
I always mix 2 tablespoons of pure argan oil in my mix to condition the hair and wrap everything up in cling film and then a towel. The hair will definitely be secured and not dry up under the clingfilm.
Very happy with this ready mixed hair dye and will definitely use again.
allergic to PPD free hair dyes and finally found this. Love the results, my hair feels great after too, really healthy. Although it did dry my hair out at first and would use coconut oil with it next time when I mix the powder so it is easier to get out and wash etc. But absolutely loved it and will be buying again.
Be wary of mixing coconut oil with it as it could hinder the colour sticking to your hair.
Dark Brown & Chestnut

I just want to say that as a bleached light blonde dyed hair person with very dark roots growing out I wanted to ditch the dangerous chemical dyes and go my own natural darker blonde colour all over. I did some testers and then found when I mixed 50% Dark Brown with 50% Chestnut It's Pure Organics, the colour dyed my hair perfectly, evenly and beautifully all over and gave me a lovely dark brown with a hint of chestnut and it looks so natural and feels soft & shiny! I highly recommend these colours. Do make sure you do some testers first to get your best colour and wait a day or two for the colour once you have done it to oxidise and deepen to the actual final colour. Thank you Tricia for your valuable advice. I will only use these colours from now on.
I am delighted to find a hair color that is pure and organic and will cover my grey. The dark brown was perfect. I also tried the very dark brown (sample), but it was too dark for me. I will continue to buy this product. The price is good too!
I bought the shade dark brown, and my hair has gone a very dark brown. I was skeptical as I'm asian and most cheap hair dye boxes in Asian shops always leave an orange tinge. This brand is obviously more pure amd has the right mixture of henna/indigo etc. I have a lot of hair fall due to my pregnancy and been dyeing my hair loads with chemical hair dyes...I had an ombre where my ends have been bleached twice and been toned. Used semi colours too..so had alot of buildup not to mention the odd greys. I have cut my hair twice to just start fresh but wanted to try henna as it makes hair more healthier and lush, I also wanted to get rid of my greys but move away from toxic dyes. I didn't strand test this product...but left it on for 3 hours. I thought my light ends might go orange at worst but was pleasantly surprised my whole head was one even colour of dark brown. Even if it fades to a Medium brown I wouldn't mind. my hair looks shinier thicker and I love the colour, its similar to my natural hair colour. I will be using these colours now and replacing the chemical dyes! It also blended in my greys really well!
