I have an allergy to ammonia, peroxide and ppd's and tried Logona. I found the coverage excellent and no allergic reaction at all. Only problem is the Nougat brown was not dark enough to cover my grey so ended up slightly orange. On recommendation from another user I have now purchased the brown umber for grey coverage.
I have purchased the logona hair dye, both in powder and cream and I'm happy with both(I have started to get grey hair..) and I'm happy with the natural colour conditionner as well as logona colour plus cleanser. I highly recommend LOGONA HAIR PRODUCT
This is an excellent product for someone allergic to standard hair dyes. It even covers grey (although not as effectively as other products). I highly recommend it.
I found this much more palatable than henna powder. It smells OK too and I kept a small amount aside for touch ups around my hairline which works well. I am still yet to discover a product that covers well though on a few grey hairs.

Logona Natural Hair Colour Creams
Easier than the powders - Claire
Rating:
Ordered the copper blonde at 1pm and it arrived the next morning, fantastic! One tube is plenty - even for long hair, and this product is much easier to use than the powders. And best of all it doesn't sting so you can leave it on for ages!
It does not dye quite a well as the other natural hairdyes. The colour looks a bit lifeless. It does not irritate my skin and it still produces good natural look.
I am completely new to herbal hair colours but I feel very much a fan and will be using this product again. As my hair has the remnants of a semi-permanent copper colour in it and is naturally dark blonde with red and brown elements I decided to try Copper Blonde. I also used the pre-application clay mask before colouring, which added to the time involved in the process but I wanted to do things properly for my first time, and wanted to give this new colour all possible chances of working properly
Before colouring I performed a strand test. I am only starting to find grey in my hair, so I did the strand test on both grey and normal hair. Again, this added to the time involved, but it was highly recommended by a number of sources, so I decided to follow the advice and got the reassurance that my hair would be fine and subtly coloured.
The product is very easy to apply. I have thick, wavy, coarse, shoulder-length hair and it took one full tube and a few squeezes from a second tube to ensure complete coverage. I wanted to be sure that my hair was saturated with colour, given that this is my first time using the product. I think I would just use one tube for the future applications.
The colour smells quite strong (flowery almost) but it's not unpleasant. I left the colour on for the full 1.5 hours and I'm very pleased with the results. My hair seems to feel as though it's in much better condition than it was before colouring, it is less frizzy, and is holding a wave/curl more easily than usual. It also held the wave/curl overnight, and normally sleep makes my hair's wave less defined even if I put it in a loose ponytail while sleeping. I don't know how long this definition effect lasts, but I hope it's for a while
The colour is very subtle, not a drastic change from what it was, but that's exactly what I wanted. It made some of the white hairs look strawberry-blonde and they blended in well with the rest of my hair. It didn't catch absolutely all of the white hairs but those that it left uncoloured are very few in number and thus are less noticeable.
The hair that still had semi-permanent colour and my natural-coloured re-growth have blended together nicely, and my hair feels much softer than usual. The herbal/flowery scent from the hair colour is still in my hair this morning, and I quite like it. The subtle colour I achieved has made me feel braver and I think I might try one of the more vibrant colours in 4-6 weeks.
I have naturally darkish blonde hair and I dislike my natural hair colour with a passion. It looks so lank and dull. For a long time I'd coloured it with commercial hair dyes in many shades - medium brown, dark brown, red-black, plum-black, blue-black, and I loved having it really dark, but I just couldn't take the effects on my scalp any more. My scalp is ridiculously sensitive. Commercial dyes were stinging and itching violently as soon as I applied them, even semi-permanents with no ammonia in them. And for days afterwards my scalp would be sore, itchy, stinging and covered in scabs and lumps. Even certain shampoos bring on my scalp irritations, it's a nightmare.
I had been looking at the dyes on shop shelves for ages and was actually even contemplating trying them again and living with the effects, so badly did I want to change my hair again. Then I discovered Naturtint and the Daniel Field Watercolours dyes on the Internet. Researching them a little more, however, I found them to contain PPDs and other chemicals, so in reality they are just as bad as any shop bought semi permanent.
The natural hair dye seed had been planted in my mind after that though, so I kept searching and came across Logona - Suvarna seemed the best UK company to purchase from so I bit the bullet and went for it! I went for 'Tizian' purely because it has the least ingredients. My scalp is so sensitive I wanted something with minimal ingredients to minimize risk of reaction. The package with the dye-applying brush and cream arrived the day after ordering, which I was impressed about.
I did a strand test first and having left it on for 45 minutes, I was a bit disheartened to see no real change apart from a faintly Ginger hue. So I thought I'd just apply it anyway and see what happens! It was incredibly easy to apply: easier even than a store-bought dye, I thought. When you first apply it, it seems to produce a slight warming sensation which I really enjoyed actually! The cap it comes with is a godsend. I left it on for an hour and three quarters the first time. The smell is quite strongly herbal but pleasant, and there was no stinging or itching during application at all (something I'd been dreading), so I felt comfortable leaving it on for a long time.
It didn't stain my skin (I did apply cream to my hairline to counteract that, but any you get on your skin washes off easily anyway), and it rinsed out amazingly easily. Afterwards my hair felt so gorgeous! It was like it had been through a deep conditioning treatment, it was soft, thicker and so shiny I was nearly bowled over! In daylight my dark blonde hair had taken a flame-orange tint with this colour. My boyfriend kept calling me ginger, but I liked it, so I did it again a couple of days later to see if I could strengthen and slightly darken the colour. I left it on for the same amount of time as before, and it was even shinier and more healthy than the first time afterwards! After the second application it was definitely darker, but still more coppery than red. It's had a few washes now and is still there - after the first 3 washes it kind of dulls down a little and is now almost a gingery brown colour. Even just using baby shampoo to wash my hair, I now never need to condition it, it's in such gorgeous condition, which is a miracle with how my hair used to be!
I've ordered the powder to try, and see how I get on with that, as it was available in more shades and I want a more reddy tint. I've gone for mahogany - wish me luck!
I'm definitely a convert to these fabulous dyes and can't sing their praises highly enough! I'll never use commercial dyes again....and one tube of this stuff lasts ages, I've got past shoulder length hair and it's lasted for 2 full applications, plus a little left over.
