This natural medium brown hair colour is suitable for light brown to medium brown hair and also hair with stripes of grey if you wnat to blend your grey.
I think the product is very good, although quite expensive, but possible to get two applications from it. I did notice that the quality of the gloves has reduced considerably since my last purchase and I hope this is not going to be a trend.
Good, but note that Dark Brown 4N is VERY dark! - Maria

I would recommend this product. I've resisted dying my hair all over as I don't want to ruin it by using ammonia or peroxide. As I got older, the Henna I used (from Lush) wasn't covering my grey so I let it go natural for a couple of years. I have about 30% grey now scattered in mid-dark brown hair. I was delighted to find this natural product. I thought I would use a dark brown to get my hair back to its natural colour, then put some red henna over the top. The 4N I used however was blue-black rather than dark brown so I had to use lemon juice rinses for a week to try and tone it down. The colour was way too harsh for my skin tone but would probably suit Asian or Indian skin. (I am half-Greek so have pale olive skin). After a week of lemon juice, I have now put the Lush red henna on top and it looks almost how I wanted it, just a little darker than anticipated. I'd definitely use Palette by Nature again but I would pick a lighter brown shade before using my henna. On the first rinse out of the Palette By Nature, my hair felt really dry as it usually does when using henna powders, but after a couple of shampoos it felt soft again, and my colleagues all commented how shiny my hair was, if a little too dark! Use an old towel, make sure your flooring is covered and try not to get it on your scalp - it is very tenacious! The indigo colouring will not wash out of the towel I used and I had to bleach my bath and sink to remove the blue-black.
This product solved a huge problem for me just when I developed a severe allergy to ppd in hair dyes and just when I thought I'd have to admit to being a middle-aged woman with gray hair. Palette by Nature covered my gray so that, even after the first application, it almost miraculously blended with my naturally jet-black hair. The second application improved it further. No more itchy scalp, no more horrific allergic reactions - thank you for this excellent product.
I am delighted with this product i used it once and it coloured my grey very dark to match my natural black hair. I had been using logona henna for 3 years but it was always slightly coppery and much lighter than this Act by Nature colour.
I have an allergy to many hair dyes so I am very pleased to find a natural hair dye that works and doesn’t give me an allergic reaction. I have tried cheaper henna hair dyes such as Surya but it made my grey hair too orangey and washed out very quickly and even made my head itch. This Act by Nature Dye lasts longer and doesn’t go reddish. The first time I used it my white patches went grey. I used it a second time one week later it went a dark grey. It is not exactly as dark as my very dark brown hair but it is a great improvement. It was very easy to use.
I have a thick patch of pure white at the front and followed the directions for grey hair precisely. I was horrified when my white hair had turned a bluey grey! I contacted Act by Nature and they told me to do the lemon juice rinse, which I did. This was very easy and to my amazement, the blue had been replaced with golden brown. The Company also advised that I should use a lighter colour next time, which I will. The only other point is that it fades quite quickly if you wash your hair frequently. I will use it again and in between treatments I am using the Blend Away Grey kit. Not quite the same nice colour but at least it's not white! And the great thing is that they're all natural.
